My wife and I booked an appointment with Eco Installations Scotland by phone because we need to replace our double-glazed windows. The appointment was scheduled at our convenience, and a visit within three days was arranged. On the morning of the appointment, I received a confirmation call from their main office in Livingston, where I confirmed I still wished their salesperson to attend. Euan arrived exactly at the pre-arranged time, wearing his company T-shirt with the logo. This was reassuring. He arrived with a sample window, which he used to show us the mechanisms, window construction, finish types, and quality. Using an A4, three-step diagrammatic sheet on his clipboard, he explained in detail the differences in product quality currently on the market: Budget, Mid-Range and High Quality. I informed Euan upon his arrival that there were three criteria I would consider before making a purchase: product quality, company reputation, warranty and price. I told him that if he could satisfy those criteria, I would purchase the windows. I also informed him that I was getting quotes from two other companies. I had already received one quote. Euan was courteous, friendly and very professional. He stayed longer than his allotted one-hour time slot due to my incessant questions, but was happy to stay until he answered everything I asked of him to my satisfaction, including in-depth questions about warranties, financial safeguards, and whether they used subcontractors, etc. My wife and I selected the High Quality product range because, when considering each of the three options, it made the most sense, both financially and practically—product longevity and quality. Euan provided us with a quote which was very fair and competitive. My wife and I were fully satisfied. No hard sell, just quality information. Euan's product and process knowledge was very good. I am very discerning when making a purchase, and Euan was not intimidated at all by the questions I put to him. In fact, he welcomed them. At the end of the evening, we shook hands, closed the deal, paid a deposit via bank transfer and were given a written contract—no need for that third quote. Euan informed us that a surveyor would contact us soon to book an appointment for a full survey and to inform us of lead times for installation. We could not be happier with the service we received from Euan.  We look forward to the installation of our new windows. I will post a follow-up review once they are installed. Thank you! We had an appointment with Craig for new windows, he was very friendly and approachable from the moment he arrived. He was extremely thorough and took the time to explain the whole process clearly, answering all of our questions without rushing us. The appointment was relaxed and informative, and there was absolutely no pressure to buy at any stage.
